Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Meg Gibson went to Highland Park High School where she debated
and made art. In 2006, she graduated from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of
Fine Arts (Museum School).
In 2010, Meg graduated from SMU's Dedman School of Law. Currently, she's an oil and gas attorney in Denver.
"The process of painting is what I enjoy most." Meg Gibson loves getting involved with the materials,
so she's usually a complete mess. Meg wants to produce paintings that you have the impulse to touch. The conceptual
aspects are primarily informed by international current events where chaos seems to envelope the world. While individuals
have relatively little control over the environment, they do have the power to determine their attitude:
acknowledging darkness and overcoming it.
